Uniforms

We are a "belt up", hat optional pack. Belts are optional but recommended for Lions (K) through Bears (3rd) so they have a place to put their belt loops. Uniform pants and hat are optional. We ask that Cubs wear their field uniform to all meetings and events unless activity uniforms are specified. If the uniform is forgotten for a meeting, that's ok – do your best.

A scout is conservation minded – the pack has a small "uniform closet" that families are free to take from or add to.

Activity Uniform

Picture
Activity uniforms are worn during activities where there may be a mess and the scout would like to keep their field uniform clean. Cub Scouts and registered adult leaders will each be given one activity uniform upon joining. By default, the size given to Cub Scouts will be a Youth Medium. If your Cub Scout needs a larger size, contact the committee and we'll figure it out. This is included in the pack fee.

Adult Leader Field Uniform

Picture
Adult leaders are responsible for providing their own uniforms. The shirt is required. Belt, pants, and hat are optional. No neckerchief or woggle except for Wood Badge ones. A properly outfitted shirt includes:
  • tan shirt (same as Scouts BSA)
  • red 8 and 4 number patches
  • Pacific Skyline Council shoulder patch
  • blue shoulder loops
  • purple world crest patch
  • (optional) world crest ring patch
  • position patch (provided by the pack)
  • "Trained" patch (provided by the pack when earned)
