How to Become a
Registered Adult Volunteer
Step 1 - Application
Fill out the online application. Same as the application for Cub Scouts, just choose adult rather than child.
Note, fee paid is reimbursable. Send a copy of the receipt to [email protected]
Step 2 - Youth Protection Training
Complete Youth Protection Training (YPT). Make sure to do the mandatory course. Sometimes there's another course that's just informational. Your application can not be accepted until YPT is completed and we just get repeated reminder emails without any way to way to move the application through the system.
Step 3 - AB506
Complete the California AB506 requirements listed on the Pacific Skyline Council site.
